Nach einer Handvoll EPs bringt Matt Corby sein erstes echtes Studioalbum heraus. In Telluric ist die leichte Falsett-Stimme des jungen australischen Sängers einem dunkleren, in sich gekehrten Gesang gewichen. Einen Stil, der zwischen unbeschwertem Folk und melancholischen, sinnlichen Soul, zwischen Gnarls Barkley und Bon Iver einzuordnen ist.
