Andrew Hyatt

Andrew Hyatt is a Canadian Country Music Award-winning artist from Sudbury, Ontario. Raised in Northern Ontario, he earned the nickname "The Nickel City Kid" for his success on the Canadian Country charts, which began with the release of his full-length debut album, Iron & Ashes, in 2017. Like Hyatt's debut EP, 2015's Never Back Down, Iron & Ashes was released on Wax Records. The album's second single, "On Me," reached number 11 on the Canada Country chart, marking the first of eight consecutive songs to hit the Top 50. Before the year was up, Hyatt scored another hit with the non-album single "Do It with You," which went to number 8. Those two songs also helped him earn three nominations from the Country Music Association of Ontario in 2018, including "Male Artist of the Year," "Album of the Year," and "Rising Star of the Year." A pair of EPs, CAIN and ABEL, followed in 2018 and 2019, respectively, with CAIN producing the Top 20 hit "Habit." Although the Covid-19 pandemic prevented Hyatt from hitting the road in 2020, he nonetheless enjoyed his most successful year on the Canada Country chart to date, earning Top 40 hits with "Didn't Know Me" (number 17), "I Needed That" (number 30), and "Neverland" (number 13). "Neverland" also became his first song to cross into the all-genre Canadian Hot 100, where it reached number 88. All three songs appeared on the Neverland EP, which was followed by Four Good Years in 2022. Hyatt's seventh EP, L is For, was released in 2024, with record's title track debuting at number 50 on the Top 50 Country Songs chart.
