Irónicamente Wild Life, el primer álbum de Wings, suena aún más doméstico y más parecido a un disco de Linda y Paul McCartney que Ram. Tan bizarro y fascinante como irritante por su deliberado amateurismo, es difícil pensar que un disco tan insustancial sea obra de uno de los músicos más influyentes del siglo XX, uno además conocido por su insuperable oficio a la hora de componer y grabar. Uno podría concluir que Wild Life es simplemente un mal disco, pero sin embargo su fingida domesticidad y trivialidad resultan tan extrañas que terminan convirtiéndolo en un disco como ningún otro. Reeditado en diversos formatos en 2018 incluyendo una versión de 3 CD+DVD con ensayos, mezclas alternativas, demos y sencillos de la época.
