Luis A. Segura pone fin a su periplo norteamericano y regresa a Mallorca para volver a trabajar junto a Toni Noguera (como hiciera en Heavenly Hell de 2008) en King of Beasts, su quinto álbum de estudio. Bastante más ecléctico que sus últimas producciones grabadas en Estados Unidos, el disco hace gala de un refrescante desenfado creativo a la hora de incorporar elementos de géneros como folk-rock, electrónica, dreampop o indie pop, o de componer hits radiales sin miramientos como "Leave it All Behind", "Wind" o "Helsinki".
