Certified Hits contains ten of Billy Dean's biggest hits from his albums on Capitol. Dean's output in the '90s included the hits "Billy the Kid," "Only Here for a Little While," "Tryin' to Hide a Fire in the Dark," and a version of Dave Mason's 1977 smash "We Just Disagree." In Billy Dean's catalog, Certified Hits and Greatest Hits are practically interchangeable, and either are recommended to fans of the adult contemporary side of modern country.
