The Norwegian experimental collective have further evolved from their black metal beginnings to present a collection of Krautrock-inspired psychedelia. The recording of their 12th album began in 2014 when the band played and recorded extended improvisational pieces whilst on tour in Europe. In 2015, British bandmember Daniel O'Sullivan began working on the multi-tracked material in London, before the other bandmembers got involved and completed the record in Oslo. The resulting work is a moody, dramatic collection that fits in with their previous body of work whilst resisting repetition.
