Luego de haber colaborado en Apocalyptic Love (2012), World on Fire (2014) y Living the Dream (2018), Slash y Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators regresan en febrero de 2022 con su cuarto álbum conjunto, justamente titulado 4. Se trata además del primer lanzamiento de Gibson Records, el flamante sello discográfico de la famosa marca de guitarras. Una colección de 10 temas de hard rock clásico inspirada por bandas como Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones o Led Zeppelin, el disco fue mayormente grabado en vivo en un estudio de Nashville bajo la supervisión del productor Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell). Incluye el sencillo "The River is Rising".
