One artist is good. Two, better. Three… even better again? It’s difficult to say otherwise after listening to these twenty short minutes from Baxter Dury, Etienne de Crécy and Delilah Holliday. Under the acronym B.E.D they explore an atypical style. B a dandy bloke with a barytone voice, E a master of French Touch, D a young riot grrrl equally comfortable with garage punk as she is with suave soul.

These three artists have produced a record which is filled with simple but effective beats guided by the Less is more philosophy. On Etienne’s synth-pop canvas and bare rhythms Delilah and Baxter’s voices bounce off each other in way Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood would be proud of. This "Beauty and The Beast" duo is where the strength of the album lies, Dury describes it as "a not fully developed mutant child of the 80s."

During an exclusive interview with Qobuz, Baxter, Étienne and Delilah take a look back at the origins of this unique Qobuzissime, which is autumn’s most exciting electro collaboration.
