A 17th groovy album by Bluey Maunick and the gang...

For more than 35 years, Incognito has been a stalwart of soul and funk. A veritable war machine rolling into action, headed up by Jean-Paul Maunick, aka Bluey, on the guitar. Rather than trying to destroy everything in his path, he's fighting for the soul cause and furthering his own special interpretation of funk, smooth jazz, and soul, thanks to joyful experimentation with them all. Ultimately, he's still lighting up the dancefloor. In the 90s, along with the Brand New Heavies, Galliano, the Young Disciples, Jamiroquai and a couple of others, Incognito was at the forefront of the emerging acid jazz scene in London. With In Search Of Better Days, Incognito's 17th album, released at the beginning of the summer, Bluey has created some unbeatable new rhythms. And, as per usual, some great voices have lent a hand: Tommy Momrelle, Vanessa Haynes, Vula Malinga, Katie Leone, Maysa and Imaani.
