Described as an "evolutionary step for the band," the four-song Turn It On EP finds the veteran Denton-based country-rockers eschewing their signature blend of heartland rock and firebrand Texas country in favor of a more radio-ready pop/rock sound. Built around the hook-laden title track and single, Turn It On also includes the catchy, groove-based "Drink You Up," the meaty and midtempo "Plastic," and the heartfelt ballad "Your Place or Mine."
