On The Versions, the second disc in a two-disc series compiling the next eight releases on their highly acclaimed Burial Mix imprint, the mighty Rhythm & Sound return with a maelstrom of subbass and their minimal version of dub. These versions (instrumentals) are a perfect study into the production of the Rhythm & Sound troupe and highlight the dense atmospheric production values that have become their signature sound and textbook inspiration for most minimal techno producers. With the vocals stripped away from them, the compositions are equally as strong and stand on their own as a force to be reckoned with.
