This live blowout features trumpeter Marvin "Hannibal" Peterson, George Adams on tenor and flute, cellist Diedre Murray, bassist Steve Neil and drummer Makaya Ntshoko stretching out on two 19- to 21-minute jams. "Ro" has some of Adams's intense tenor although he switches to his less impressive flute on "Swing Low Sweet Chariot." There are some strong moments on this set but also lots of rambling. This music was probably better experienced live than on this LP.
