Following their departure from Sony's Essential Records imprint, chart-topping Christian rock juggernaut RED decided to forge ahead as an independent group and turned to fans to help crowd-fund their next release. The Nashville band also promoted touring drummer Dan Johnson to full-time member, then teamed up with longtime producer Rob Graves to record Declaration, their seventh full-length. The inaugural release on their own Red Entertainment label, Declaration follows 2017's Gone, doubling down on the band's passionate mix of grandiose alt-metal and hard rock with spiritual themes.
