In 2009, Nicki Minaj laid the foundations of her future fame with Beam Me Up Scotty, her third mixtape with a kitschy cover. She released this independently and sold over a million copies. Twelve years later, the rapper has decided to re-release this mix on streaming platforms, adding three new tracks including the blockbuster Seeing Green featuring Drake and Lil Wayne and Fraction, a dark solo number which confirms her as one of the great performers of our time. The original tracklist is the same, including the tasty Shopaholic, featuring Gucci Mane, Bobby V, F1Jo and produced by one of trap's greatest architects: Drumma Boy. This mixtape takes her back to the basics. We hear the southern sounds and the freewheeling TR-808s on Itty Bitty Piggy and the influences of the Three 6 Mafia on the rip-roaring Silly...
