Nu:Logic

A joint project between siblings Dan and Matt Gresham (better known as Nu:Tone and Logistics), the duo first appeared in 2003 after two of their collaborations appeared on the Nu:Tone release Rock the Jazzbar EP. With both of the Cambridge, U.K.-born brothers' careers under their other aliases taking off, the project was put on hold, apart from the track "On and On" appearing on the 2014 Hospital Records compilation Weapons of Mass Creation. That appearance marked the start of the brothers' connection with the label, as both individually signed to Hospital, launched their careers and helped define the liquid drum'n'bass sound of the label. The first proper Nu:Logic EP appeared some six years later, with the release of 2010's New Technique. A track on Sick Music 3 followed two years later, before the brothers focused on the release of their debut album. Preceded by the singles Morning Light and Everlasting Days, What I've Always Waited For dropped in 2013 and saw the pair collaborating with a number of vocalists including Robert Manos and Lifford, while pushing their soulful and anthemic sound forward. Once again focusing on their other aliases, the duo put the project on hold, before returning in 2017 with the track "Side by Side." Their sophomore album, Somewhere Between the Light, appeared in June, and saw them working with the likes of Child of Chief, Thomas Oliver, the Nextmen, and their younger brother, Nick Gresham, aka Other Echoes.
