Come sarebbe a dire, Sei evoluzioni? Titolo interessante, persino esoterico… Il violoncellista Yo-Yo Ma, che non dobbiamo più presentare dopo circa cinque decenni di carriera planetaria, firma qui la sua terza (ed ultima, dice) incisione delle Suite per violoncello solo di Bach. La prima, da ventenne, scatenò entusiasmo, la seconda, sulla quarantina, scatenò emozione: cosa scatenerà questa visione finale sulla sessantina ben inoltrata? Serenità e gioia, senz’alcun dubbio, il compimento di una tripla evoluzione discografica. Detto questo, non si spiegano ancora le Sei evoluzioni, e bisogna andare a scavare in un recesso del libretto d’accompagnamento per trovare un’indicazione, che in realtà non è affatto illuminante, visto che non comporta alcun chiarimento: 1) La nature en jeu, 2) Voyage vers la lumière, 3) Célébration, 4) Construction/Élaboration, 5) Lutte pour l’espoir, e 6) Épiphanie. Beh… Comunque sia, e nonostante la dichiarazione (e la qualità straordinaria di quest’interpretazione), ci diamo appuntamento verso il 2038 per vedere se decide ugualmente di riproporre una lettura degli ottant’anni! © SM/Qobuz
