H Magnum

Guy-Hervé Imboua is known professionally by his stage name of H Magnum. A French rapper hailing from the 20th arrondissement of Paris, H Magnum was born in Yopougon, Ivory Coast, and immigrated to France aged 9. He dropped his debut album, Rafales, in 2009 after opening for Akon that year and released a follow-up, Dream, in 2012, which slipped into the French chart at Number 137. The following year, he linked up with Congolese-French rapper Maître Gims for the track "Fin de Dream," which made up the name of his third album, Fin de Dream (Avant Gotham City), also released in 2013. Three more albums followed: 2016's Gotham City, which went to Number 16, 2020's Obade and 2021's Bansky, which made it to Number 83. H Magnum has also worked with various other rappers including Kery James, Intouchables, Diam'S and Sexion d'Assaut, amassing a handful of collaborative singles, including a spot on 2018's "La Nuit C'est Fait Pour Dormir," from Gims that also featured French rapper and artist Orelsan.
