Rainy Milo
Rainy Milo, a British recording artist of Guyanese descent, began her musical journey in south-east London, embracing the arts from the age of 14. By 2012, she had released her debut mixtape Limey, showcasing her unique blend of jazz-inspired hip-hop, followed by her EP Black & Blonde in 2013. Her music, characterized by sultry vibrato tones and a London accent, captures her honest reflections on life. Rainy Milo's debut album This Thing Of Ours marked her international breakthrough in 2015. Citing real-life experiences as her main inspiration, Rainy Milo's approach to music is unforced, focusing on genuine emotions and stories. Her work is influenced by jazz, the diverse musical background provided by her family, and artists like Kid Cudi and N.E.R.D.
