Maria Arnal
Maria Arnal is a Catalan singer born in Badalona in 1987. She began writing songs and playing guitar as a teenager and later attended the Badalona's Escola de Música Moderna. After graduating she started to perform in public, and joined the popular culture collective Compartir Dóna Gustet. Together with guitarist Marcel Bagés, also a member of the collective, Arnal launched a project for the recovery and modernization of traditional songs. The duo collected its first efforts on the EPs Remescles, Acoples i Melismes (2015) and Verbena (2016). In April 2017, Arnal and Bagés released their full-length debut, 45 Cerebros y 1 Corazón to universal critical acclaim.
