Jonna Fraser

Born in 1992, Dutch rapper Jonna Fraser grew up in the town of Zaandam in Northern Holland. A keen follower of hip-hop, Fraser immersed himself in the sound, and by 2014 he had released his debut EP, Maatje 45. Taking inspiration from the slow and low sound of trap as well as smooth R&B, the EP signaled the start of Fraser's career. The following year the debut album Alle Tijd appeared and hit the Dutch MidPrice Top 50 at number 17. By 2016, Fraser had become a mainstay on the Dutch charts, with his sophomore release, Goed Teken, hitting the national Top 100, while collaborations with Monica Geuze and fellow Dutch rap crew Broederliefde also hit the charts. Just a few months later, Fraser delivered his third studio album, Blessed. The more R&B- and pop-oriented album hit the top spot of the Dutch album charts and spawned the singles "Verwijderd," "Ik Kom Bij Je," and "Update."
