Jack Topping

Plucked from obscurity by production and songwriting couple James Morgan and Juliette Pochin after a friend had recorded him with the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Choir, Jack Topping was quickly signed to Decca Records at the young age of 11. Growing up in Liverpool and joining in youth choirs at a young age, Topping had already wowed choirmasters with his vocal abilities before major-label stardom came knocking, and with a love of the Beatles instilled in him by his father, the young Topping would naturally end up looking to the Fab Four for vocal inspiration. Whisked off to London for the recording of his debut album, Topping performed a selection of choral classics as well as a handful of Beatles covers, while also paying homage to his hometown football team, Liverpool FC, with a recording of the terrace anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone." Topping's self-titled album was released toward the end of 2013 and entered the U.K. Top 75 album chart, while that year also saw him being chosen as the youngest singer to become an ambassador for the charity Save the Children.
