The Treatment

A hard-hitting five-piece based out of Cambridge, England, retro-rockers the Treatment straddle the line between classic hard rock and heavy metal. Evoking the good-time swagger of bands like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, the Cult, and Guns N' Roses, the band formed in 2008 and released their debut LP, This Might Hurt, via Spinefarm Records in 2011. A tour with Alice Cooper, Steel Panther, and Thin Lizzy followed shortly thereafter, as did a high-profile appearance at the 2012 Download Festival at Castle Donnington. Tours with Kiss and Mötley Crüe, as well as an Ozzfest appearance, preceded the release of the group's sophomore outing, Running with the Dogs, which was also issued via Spinefarm. In 2015, after a few lineup changes that saw the departure of lead singer Matt Jones, the Treatment inked a deal with Frontiers and began work on a new album. The resulting Generation Me was released in early 2016, and marked the debuts of vocalist Mitchel Emms and guitarist Tao Grey. Emms left the fold in 2017 and was replaced by Tom Rampton, who made his first studio appearance on 2019's Power Crazy.
