Hasse Alfredson
Swedish comedian Hasse Alfredson is an actor and writer whose career spans numerous decades, from the 1960s well into the next century. Born Hans Folke Alfredson on June 28, 1931, in Malmö, Sweden, he befriended Tage Danielsson in the 1950s when the two of them worked together at Sveriges Radio on a variety of sketches and shows. In the 1960s Alfredson and Danielsson (sometimes referred to as the comedy duo Hasseåtage) founded the production company AB Svenska Ord and began producing a long-running series of television variety shows, films, books, and more. Only in 1985 with the passing away of Danielsson did the duo conclude its partnership. Alfredson in particular is perhaps best known for his Lindeman sketches. Debuted in the early '60s, these sketches are improvised monologues involving fictional characters in the Lindeman family. Recordings of these sketches have been compiled for release from time to time. Most extensively, an 11-volume series of Lindeman recordings was compiled for release in 2008 as Lindemans Låda.
