Boy Epic

Mysterious and coy, Dallas, Texas native Boy Epic pairs his expansive noir pop with dramatic visuals, aiming to fuse the worlds of music and film. At the start of his career, the singer/songwriter kept his real name and age hidden, choosing to shift focus onto his multimedia projects. In 2014, he uploaded his covers of A Great Big World's "Say Something" and Christina Perri's "Human" to YouTube, amassing millions of views in the span of a few months. Afterward, he began releasing his own material as three-song EPs with accompanying videos. The first trilogy, Skynova, arrived in 2014 and was quickly followed by Who Is Parker Banks? and Tell Me Lies. Along with frequent collaborator and producer Cut Down Trees, he continued to issue new music, including tracks inspired by movies like 50 Shades of Grey and Suicide Squad. His theatrical style and emotive delivery caught the attention of Hollywood Records, which signed him in 2016. In preparation for his official debut long-player, he began the slow release of the Boy Epic Chronicles, a series of visual appetizers for each track on the album.
