Nadia Batson

Nadia Batson, born on December 7, 1976, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, is a multifaceted artist known for her contributions to the soca genre. She began her career in music at an early age, showing a profound interest in singing and writing. Nadia Batson's talent was recognized early on when she became a runner-up in the Power Category at the 2007 International Soca Monarch with her song "My Land." Her career took a significant turn when she joined Kes The Band as the leading female vocalist, touring internationally. In 2011, she founded SASS, an all-female soca band, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in the music industry. Nadia Batson's music, which includes hits like "Caribbean Girl" (2007) and her involvement in competitions such as the International Soca Monarch and Chutney Soca Monarch, showcases her versatility and dedication to her craft.
