Wall

WALL were a Brooklyn-based group whose tense, volatile songs blended dark post-punk and no wave influences, and often addressed and confronted the problems of modern-day society. The group consisted of vocalist Samantha York, bassist Elizabeth Skadden (formerly of Finally Punk), guitarist Vince McClelland, and drummer Vanessa Gomez. They emerged in 2016 with a self-titled EP released by Wharf Cat Records, and played shows at several New York City venues, as well as Austin's South by Southwest Festival. WALL's full-length debut Untitled arrived in April of 2017, but the group announced that they had already ceased activity.
