Comme toute bonne trilogie qui se respecte, l’épisode ultime est plein de piquant. Slime Season 3 ne déroge pas à la règle et Young Thug démontre une fois de plus qu’il maîtrise sa technique atypique sur le bout de la langue. Le rappeur avale les syllabes et se joue du rythme d’une manière enfantine. Ses gimmicks sont naturels et sa voix toujours aussi haut perchée. Young Thug use de son immense charisme pour former des collaborations avec Mike WiLL Made It ou encore Allen Ritter. Le MC éblouit même sur Drippin où ses cordes vocales endossent le rôle de percussion surexcitée. Slime Season 3 est un chapitre final bien écrit, composé dans la veine de ses prédécesseurs et qui laisse entrevoir un certain renouveau dans le style du jeune gangster. © AR/Qobuz
