Grosse grosse grosse erreur… Avec ce Same Trailer Different Park qui décrochera le Grammy Award du meilleur album country, la jeune songwriteuse texanne évite de tomber dans les pièges tendus par Nashville. Et lorsque chaque chanson semble s’engager sur le chemin des clichés du genre, Musgraves donne un gros coup de collier pour faire brillamment vriller la composition. On alterne ainsi de la country pure à la country pop en passant par des titres nettement plus rock voire un brin rétro.
