Avec un titre comme Risk To Exist, Maximo Park s’invite dans le débat sur le Brexit. Depuis ses débuts fracassants avec A Certain Trigger 2002, le gang de Newcastle emmené par le charismatique Paul Smith n’a jamais eu sa langue dans sa poche, enveloppant ses mélodies catchy dans des propos souvent engagés… Comme Franz Ferdinand qui vit le jour à la même époque, Maximo Park avait entamé les années 2000 avec une formule ressuscitant (de manière plus hardie) l’esprit d’une pop à la Duran Duran.
