Même si Pink a mis une bonne de dance sur I'm Not Dead en 2006, ce serait beaucoup trop facile de dire que c'est un retour à "Get the Party Started". P!nk est compliquée et souvent contradictoire en apparence. Elle démolit les "porno paparazzi girls" sur un titre et affiche son côté bling bling sur "'Cuz I Can". Elle se réjouit d'avoir de l'argent sur "I Got Money Now". Elle parade, rugit et jure comme un charretier, puis se radoucit avec une chanson de soutien adressée à un adolescent. Elle collabore sur un morceau avec celui qui a propulsé Britney Spears en haut des charts, Max Martin. Puis elle change à nouveau de ton et fait intervenir les Indigo Girls sur une chanson protestataire minimaliste. Elle est prête à tout, I'm Not Dead en est la preuve.
