The 2013 compilation Autour de Minuit: Chet Baker brings together a handful of some of the legendary jazz trumpeter/vocalist's best-known recordings from the 1950s. These are tracks Baker recorded at the height of his popularity for the fledgling Pacific Jazz Records. Next to his work with baritone saxophonist Gerry Mulligan, these recordings are what most people remember Baker for and are considered classic recordings of West Coast jazz. Included are such cuts as "My Funny Valentine," "But Not for Me," "Time After Time," and many others.
