Entre un redoutable Uptown Funk avec Mark Ronson, une participation au 25 d’Adele et au Bubble Butt de Major Lazer et une apparition au show de la mi-temps du Superbowl 2016, Bruno Mars ne s’est pas fait oublier depuis son deuxième album, Unorthodox Jukebox paru en 2012. Avec 24K Magic et sa pochette bling bling tendance La Croisière s’amuse, le funkster d’Honolulu, orfèvre d’une pop au groove bien calibré, signe un troisième album nerveux comme du James Brown (Perm), avec quelques inflexions façon Stevie Wonder (Versace On The Floor) et des déhanchements dignes de Michael Jackson. Mais si toutes les influences qui nourrissent ce 24K Magic se repèrent en moins de deux, le style Mars prend immédiatement le dessus. Ça claque ! Ça dynamite le dancefloor !
