Eugene Mirman is a master at telling absurdist stories, a good percentage of which are entirely true. On his third album, the comedian is once again inspired by our incongruous world along with the Internet that connects it. An online political survey (“Who should be our next President?”) that redirects to a pill-selling site gets “the Mirm” thinking about some lucrative alternatives (“Should Scott Baio have his own mayo?”), while a certain airline (it’s bleeped out on the album) and the Kafka-esque experience that comes with flying in 2009 provide a hilarious 11-minute routine that closes the show. You either love his snideness or hate his smugness, plus he certainly isn’t afraid to shock, so use the album’s title as a chuckle test and decide accordingly. Edgy, sardonic types with a taste for the wicked will be rolling.
