À propos

Depuis presque dix ans, Susie Arioli s'est imposée dans le peloton de tête des chanteuses jazz nord-américaines. Qualifiée par les uns de diva rétro et par les autres de grande dame swing, elle n'a pas son pareil pour chanter ces refrains élégants qui sont désormais sa marque de fabrique. On est au coeur d'une bande-son très actuelle où se glisseraient des clins d'oeil à J.J. Cale, Django Reinhardt, et les Cowboy Junkies. Comme le dit Susie Arioli, "Disons que c'est de la pop d'avant, ça ressemble à ce qui se jouait dans les radios à la fin des sixties. C'était cool !" Ajoutons tout de même : avec un son moderne, une grande intelligence et un formidable sens du swing.
