1979, le groupe Ottawan fait danser l’hexagone avec son tubesque D.I.S.C.O. 2012, un duo israélien revisite cet hymne dancefloor en lui insufflant une bonne dose d’electro festive salvatrice. Derrière cette relecture décalée et hédoniste se cache en fait The Young Professionnals, TYP pour les intimes, composé du DJ Johnny Goldstein et de la popstar Ivri Lider. Véritable carton sur leur terre natale, le single fait boule de neige pour enfin s’imposer chez nous. Mais ce titre ne doit guère cacher le reste d’un album d’electro pop impeccablement réalisé. A coup de beats torrides, de samples astucieux et de voix sensuelles, ce bien nommé 9AM To 5PM - 5PM To Whenever offre un vaste et éclectique panorama de la planète dance. L’esprit des Pet Shop Boys et de Scissor Sisters n’est parfois pas loin mais TYP possède « sa » touche perso, une insouciance à laquelle on devient instantanément accro. Cerise sur ce gâteau Qobuzissime, une reprise du Video Games de Lana Del Rey ! Alors, tu danses ?
